One more wave to dive in, One more tree to fell, One more life to live again, All would be well. One last chance to witness A golden day's dawn, One last maiden's lips to kiss Then move along. Some far peak for pondering, Some fair vista dreamed: Imprint on a spirit wandering In the in-between. One fine feat of wizardry Or blind leap of faith; One prey's prayer to hazard Before the darkling gates. Always one more song of passion, Always one more tale of woe, Always one last verse, to fashion Just before I go. One more wave to drown in, One more tree to fall, One quarry brought to ground when Once does for all. |
