Woman's Missionary Society WMS activities
The Women's Missionary Society is a Christian community whose purpose, recognizing the love of God in Jesus Christ, is to encourage
one another and the people of the church to be involved in local and world Mission through prayer, study, service and fellowship.
We
belong to the presbyterial of Lanark-Renfrew and the synodical of Eastern Ontario and Western Quebec through which we share in missionary
presentations, education and fellowship.
Free will offerings are forwarded to the national office of the WMS in support of the
work of the Church nationally and internationally.
A Mission Service is held at the end of April each year. Our group meets
quarterly in member's homes on the second Tuesday of the month. Details are always available in the Church Bulletin. Visitors are
most welcome.
