In the promotional material from Otto Kroeger Associates suggests that a manager, who is having some difficulties between two employees, might propose that each employee take the type tape of the other person and listen to it. Then the next day the manager could discuss the problem with them. Having heard how the other person reacts, often the problem is diminished to more manageable proportions. This same technique could be used in couple counselling.
A counsellor who is administrating the MBTI® instrument with individual clients could give the specific type tape to the client. This could be included in the overall fee.
The tapes are interesting to listen to. You might listen to the whole set one at a time on your daily commute to work.
